Episode 9 + 10:
I like these episodes because (well duh!!) HITEN and Manten are first shown!
In these episodes, Hiten and Manten are first introduced. These guys are ruthless demons. Also in this episode, Shippo is first intoduced. Shippo is being chased by the brothers, and runs into Kagome. Some how, Kagome gets knocked-out, and Manten kidnaps her. Shippo tells Inuyasha, so Inuyasha and Shippo go out to try and rescue Kagome. Elsewere, Kagome finally wakes up, seeing Manten. He says he's going to use her for a hair remedy.Kagome freaks out. Just then, Hiten walks in with this vixen (woman). Manten begs that Hiten not take Kagome, because he already has a vixen, so Hiten blows the woman up, saying, "What vixen?" Kagome warns the brothers that Inuyasha would be coming soon to rescue her. Hiten sits down next to her and says that he will destroy Inuyasha. He grabs her chin and tell Kagome that she is very beautiful. Anyways, Inuyasha is with Shippo, and they still need to fnd Kagome. Hiten and Manten have left, to find Inuyasha. They find him, and they fight, and Inuyasha kills Manten by throwing Tetsiuga through him. Hiten gets really pissed, and takes the Shikon shards from Manten and inserts them in him. Now he is twice as strong, and his Thunder Axe is powered up. Inuyasha is defenceless, because Tetsiuga is still in Manten. Hiten throws a huge thunder ball thing at Inuyasha, and he protects himself with Tetsiuga's sheath. He breaks through the thunder ball, gets Tetsuiga, and slices Hiten and his Thunder axe in half, killing him. (DUH!) So now, Inuyasha needs to find Kagome, but sees her 'spirit,' I think she was hit by the thunder ball. But Shippo protected her, so she is alive, and Inuyasha sorta confessed some of his feelings for her. (OOPS!) So the episode ends with Inuyasha and Kagome arguing that Inuyasha didn't mean all the things he said, while Shippo watches.
Episode 36:
I LOVE this episode! It's the episode when KOGA is first introduced.
In the begining of this episode, Inuyasha and the gang are surrounded by wolves. Sango and Inuyasha do their best to kill the wolves, the wolves that survive run away, and start to howl. Miroku warns Inuyasha that they are calling one of their comerades. Then, Kagome feels three jewel shards coming in in their direction really fast. A tornado suddenly comes, and Koga jumps out of it. The wolves start whining to him, and he sees his wolves lying on the ground, dead. He gets pissed at Inuyasha for killing his wolves. They start to fight, and Inuyasha is surprised about how fast Koga moves. Then Kagome yells out to Inuyasha that this guy has three jewel shards in him, one in his right arm, and one in each of his legs. Koga is stunned that this girl knows he has jewel shards. Then Inuyasha gets an idea to use the Kaze no Kizu on Koga. Right before Inuyasha unleashes Kaze no Kizu, Koga senses something wrong, and tells his wolves to retreat. He runs off in his tornado, while the wolves run after him. Leaving Inuyasha and the gang confused. Later, Inuyasha and Miroku are burying the dead villagers Koga and his wolves killed. Kagome and Shippo are collecting firewood, and Kagome askes Shippo if he knows who that wolf guy was. Shippo explains, that his name is Koga, he controls all wolves, and he is in human form, but is really a wolf-youkai. Elsewere, Koga is talking to his wolves, and realizes that the girl (Kagome) can see jewel shards, and that he could use her to his advantage. The next day, Inuyasha and Kagome are hiking in the cliffs. Then, a pack of wolves attacks Inuyasha and he is pushed off a cliff, as he is falling, he sees Koga running up the cliff, calling him 'mutt-face.' He reaches the top of the cliff, and grabs Kagome. He runs off, and these bird youkais show up. Koga askes Kagome if she sees any jewel shards, she says she didn't, so Koga runs off. Miroku and Sango show up on Kirara. Miroku finds Inuyasha, and says Koga's plan was to kidnap Kagome. Elsewere, these other wolf-youkais sit around the mouth of a cave, and one notices Koga. Koga and Kagome enter the cave, and the youkais are muttering to one another about Kagome. Koga throws her on a pile of hay, and the other wolf-youkais askes when they eat her. Koga says they won't be eating her, surprising Kagome and everyone else. Then, other wolf-youkais bring wounded men in. Kagome askes what happened, and Koga explains that what did this was the bird youkais they saw. They are called 'birds-of-paradise.' He wants to find their leader to get it's jewel shard, and avenge his fallen comerades deaths. He askes Kagome if she will help him, and Kagome agrees.
