Inuyasha
Of course, how could I make a character bio page without the youkai who this site is named after?! INUYASHA!!!!!
Inuyasha isn't really a demon, he's a half-demon. His father was a demon, his mother was a human. He is often called a 'half-breed' by his enemies. Koga calls him a mut-face :D. Inuyasha is really powerful. Especially with Tetsiuga, his magic sword. Tetsiuga was really a fang from his father. His father's last wish was for Inuyasha to have Tetsiuga. There is a special attack Inuyasha can unleash with Tetsiuga. It's called Kaze no kizu. Translated to say 'Wound of the Wind.' It is unleashed when wind and fire (or something) are combined to make a 'wind scar.' Inuyasha aims his attack at the wind scar, and the attack comes from Tetsiuga. It's really cool. There is another attack he uses called 'Iron Rever Soul Stealer.' He basically slashes his claws at his victim. Inuyasha is older than he looks. He is probably 66 or 67. Kikyo, the woman Inuyasha used to (and probably still) love, pinned him to a tree, with a magic arrow. He fell into a deep sleep, for 50 years. Kagome freed him. Kagome is supposed to be the reincarnation of Kikyo. So now, even though Inuyasha won't admit it, he loves Kagome. Inuyasha also has an older brother, Sesshomaru. For some reason, Sesshomaru is a full-blooded demon. He wishes to kill Inuyasha, to get Tetsiuga from him. Inuyasha is stubborn, sarcastic, but all-in-all, a really cool half-breed. So there you have it, a bio about the coolest youkai, INUYASHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hiei and Kurama
I know that they're not even from 'Inuyasha,' they're still two of my fav youkais.
Hiei is stubborn and cut-throat. With his tall balck hair. He's really fast too. He is a fire demon with mad skills. Hiei has a a third eye, called a Jagan eye. He hides it under a bandana he wears a lot of the time. When he reveales it, he can reach amazing speeds, and unleash amazing powers. When his Jagan eye is revealed, and his shirt is off, he can, on command, transform into this green monster, with eyes all over his boby. In this state, he is, I think, at his fastest. Hiei also has a sword he uses all the time. He's a master swordsmen. Hiei is the cooooooolest swordsmen ever!!
Kurama is actually a peace-loving fox demon. He tries to avoid violence as much as possible. Kurama is a demon, raised by humans. Hiei suspects that if Kurama wasn't raised by humans, he would probably be a little cut-throat. Kurama has very pretty, long, red hair. He is very sweet. And it's funny because Hiei is this stubborn guy, and Kurama is so sweet, and they're friends. Kurama has a special weapon called the 'Rose Whip.' He takes a rose, and transforms it into a long whip with thorns that can slice any material. Kurama can also transform into this fox-youkai. He grows little fox ears, and his hair turns white. He is called 'Youko Kurama' is this form. So I think Kurama is the sweetest, nicest demon of the lot.
So if you've never seen Yu Yu Hakusho, or Hiei or Kurama, do yourself a favor... SEE IT!!!!!
Other Inuyasha Characters
Kagome
Kagome seems like an average girl. She basically is, despite the fact that she is usually surronded by demons, spends a lot of her time in feudal Japan, and is the reincarnation of a priestess. Kagome is Inuyasha's comarede. Inuyasha only tolerates her nagging because she has the power to see Shikon jewel shards. Kagome is 15, and attends a high school. Her house is a temple, or shrine, of some kind. In it is the well in which Kagome goes through to get back to Inuyasha, and feudal Japan. As I said, Kagome is the reincarnation of the priestess, Kikyo, no matter how much she denies it. She tries to prove that she isn't Kikyo, but it shows that she is. She has the power to see Shikon shards, she's good with a bow and arrow, and she somewhat resembles Kikyo. Also, she brings medical stuff, and food from her time to feudal Japan, further proving (to villagers) that she is Kikyo. Kagome travels back and forth through time. Her mom, grandfather, and brother, Souto, kind of know about Kagome's time-traveling. Her grandfather tries to hide the situation from Kagome's friends by telling them Kagome is sick. (he makes up all these stupid dieseases)
Miroku
Miroku is by far, my favorite human on Inuyasha. Miroku is a lovable pervert. And even funnier, he's a monk. Miroku has a special attack. His right hand has a 'wind tunnel' that, when unleashed, can suck in anything in it's path. Miroku's whole family, of men, have been cursed with the wind tunnel. It all started with his grandfather. His grandfather fought the demon, Naraku, but lost, due to his weakness to women. Naraku cursed Miroku's grandfather with the wind tunnel. The curse desends to all of the males in his family. Miroku's father had it, now he is cursed with the wind tunnel. Like what happened to Miroku's father, and grandfather, the wind tunnel will eventually devour it's victim. The only way to reverse to curse is to destroy Naraku. So Miroku joins Inuyasha and Kagome, they want to destroy Naraku too. Miroku knows that the wind tunnel will devour him, so to continue his legacy, he wishes to have a son. So Miroku askes every beautiful women he meets to bear his child. He even askes Kagome to bear his child. So he is either regected with a slap on the face, or is accepted, but the women turns out to be a demon or something. But, even if Miroku is the biggest pervert in the world, I STILL LOVE HIM!!!
Sango
Sango one tough cookie. She can be emotional, but she is protective of those she loves. Growing up, Sango learned how to fight, and become a youkai-exterminater. She trained alongside her younger brother, Kohaku. She has a weapon, a huge boomerang, made of the bones of demons Sango has 'exterminated.' Sango does have a thing for Miroku, even though she doesn't present it through the show very much. Of course, Miroku loves her, she's so pretty! Sango joins the Inuyasha gang, because she has a huge loathing of Naraku. Naraku manipulated Kohaku (her brother) to kill Sango's villagers, Sango and Kohaku's father, and even Sango. She wants to destroy Naraku, and rescue Kohaku from Naraku's grasp. Sango has a sidekick, of sorts. She has a little cat-demon pet named Kirara. Kirara is a cute little cat-demon, that can transform into a large, fire-spitting cat, with huge fangs, that can fly.
Shippo
Shippo is a cute, little fox-youkai. Shippo is the first of the entire Inuyasha gang to join Inuyasha. Kagome and Inuyasha first meet Shippo, when he is being chased by the Thunder Brothers. (:D) Shippo really hates the Thunder Brothers, because they killed his father, just so Manten (ugly one) could have a new shash. When Manten kidnaps Kagome, he helps Inuyasha get her back, but after that, just starts to hang around. Inuyasha hates that a little tiny youkai is acconpaning him, but is forced to live with it, because Kagome likes Shippo around. But, who wouldn't want Shippo around, Shippo is sooooo CUTE!!!
